Who needs to apply for a travel visa for Botswana?
Visitors to Botswana need to apply for a travel visa for Botswana in order to enter, in addition to those who hold permits but have been outside of Botswana for a period of 6 months or more.

What must you supply when applying for a travel visa for Botswana?
- A completed application form;
- The flight tickets and itinerary;
- The Identity card of the applicant’s host in Botswana or, where it is a non Botswana who is host, a copy of their permits (residence and work);
- An invitation covering letter from the host;
- Where the host is running a business, copies of their business documents are required;
- Proof of funds and accommodation such as a bank statement and hotel reservations;
- Copies of marriage certificate, birth certificate, and ordination certificate (pastors).
